The Maine Mountain Cabin
How about this for a tiny house?!?
Great hunting cabin, tool shed, garden shed.
12’ x 16’ with an 8’ loft.
Frame cut from rough sawn Hemlock and Red Oak (braces) with antique purlins. Weathered finish.
Simple dropped tie frame with a wedged dovetail tying joint.
Pegged mortise and tenon frame.
Not an antique but cut the same way!
I receive lots of inquiries regarding this frame. Figure $11,500 for this frame assembled on your prepared foundation. (which could simply be a wood deck over rocks or a concrete slab). A bit pricey for a small footprint, but there is a lot of joinery in this little frame!
This is the display in front of my Fryeburg shop. Come by and have a look at 417 Portland Street, Fryeburg, Maine. I would cut a new one for you.
